Hello! I just read your blog. It is good, clear-headed stuff. I appreciated the insights, comments, and observations.

I personally love the Peak Potential events and they have changed my life in many positive
and powerful ways. I'm very grateful for the programs I have attended so far. They have been immensely beneficial in my personal life, business, marriage, and career.

At the same time I also appreciate the comments of those who find some of the Peak Potential ways of training and marketing strange, unusual or uncomfortable in some ways.

My husband and I have taken MMI four times. Three times as participant and once as volunteers. We enjoyed it each and every time. And we plan to re-do it again in the future.

Every time we take it we learn something new about ourselves and about each other. We find it a great way to spend the weekend together, review our progress and make new goals for ourselves. It is like a sabbatical.

We have also taken Warrior Camp, (which is my personal favorite!), Wizard Camp and Life Directions. My husband also did the Success Tracs coaching program for a while. And in a few weeks we are going to "Mind of Steel, Heart of Gold"! I'm looking forward to it!

My suggestion for anyone taking the Peak Potential courses is to be clear on what you are looking for. If you are clear on what you want it is much easier to remain in integrity with oneself, remain focused, and clear-headed no matter what happens.

My husband and I were looking for deeper bonding with each other, understanding of ourselves and our patterns, overcoming limitations as well as success in our business and personal goals. And that is exactly what we got at MMI.

I know that if I'm clear I need to run down to the store to get some bread, then I do just that; run down to the store and get some bread. But if I just wonder in and I'm not sure what I'm looking for, I can spend a lot of time just wondering around and buying a bunch of stuff I don't need. Then get frustrated with myself AND the store!

I don't find Harv's sale picthes offensive or over the top. One thing I know about him is that he will deliver exactly what he said he will. That has been my experience. He tells me what he offers, and if I'm interested in it, then I consider it, and if not I enjoy the break.

I know that several persons on this blog complained about the intense schedule. It is true; the scedules are intense! However for me this in itself created one of the most major break-throughs in my life;

I was always sickly and weak, and throughout my life I declined to participate in many events and opportunities because I believed I was not going to be able to handle it physically. I always needed my long hours of sleep and special diets, and this and that.

For me MMI changed all of that. The first time I attended MMI my major lessons were not about finances. But I had too major breakthrougs in other areas;
One is that I realized that I was much stronger then I thought! I made it thru the 3 days! It was amazing! For me this was huge!
And the second thing I learned is to celebrate. To celebrate my successes, other people's successes, and life in general. And with "Life Directions", "Warrior" and "Wizard" of course these realizations and experiences went much further then this. But MMI remains close to my heart as the first step in coming out of my shell and breaking thru my limitations.

We first attended MMI in 2003. We have been using the jars with amazing success. It is so much fun! When we first started out we had no money, so we jsut split up $10/month. Now we use the exact percentages. It is so amazing to have so much PLAY money, and feels so good to freely GIVE!
We have been using the purple workbook ever since the first seminar on a daily basis. Sometiems we skipped a few days or even weeks, but since we both find it extremely valuable we always get back to it. Thsoe exercises really work! We donwloaded extra copies from PP's website after our original book was filled. And for the jars, we use a software program as we found that more practical. But we do have the jars displayed in our living room. It is nice to see them!

I also tried my hand a little with the Ambassador program, but I found that example is better then precept. "Forcing" people or tricking them into going to the seminars is not going to work. However persons who see our success (we mainly invest in real-estate)and they ask us where or how we learned what we know, we tell them about MMI. We have several friends who have taken MMI and the other courses and they are very pleased with the results. So I decided that I will follow my intuition and leave it just like that; give tickets to persons who are interested. I'm not in favor of network marketing anyway.

I agree with one person's comment that perhaps PP has gone overboard with their advertising and they may be getting more people into their courses then they should.
I have found that if people are well informed of what they are getting into, or they have seen the inspiring example of a friend who have taken the courses, that is the best advertisement and it will produce a solid and satisfied customer and a better quality training. After all it is the audience that makes the seminar happen!

The first MMI we went to 3 years ago (it was in California)had just about 2500 people. And they all appeared enthusiastic and eager to participate. There was so much energy in the room! However I have noticed during the more recent courses that a good number of people don't participate, or even leave the room during the event, or even leave the event early and don't come back!
I wonder if this is the result of the work of overenthusiastic embassadors who got in a lot of people who didn't really want to be there or didn't really know why they are there. This, of course, makes the job of the trainer harder also. Anyway, just a thought.

So there, these are the thoughts that came to me after reading the postings here.

I wish everyone all success and happiness. Just remember that the answers are all withing each and every one of us. There is no way around this. Others can assist us in uncovering our thruth, but they cannot give it to us. They cannot live our lives. We have to find our path and walk on it ourselves.
("Life Directions" has some amazing thougths about this that helped me a lot.)

Keep up the good work of sharing your thoughts and experiences!

Wow...either the majority of the people on this site are easily persuaded or they have no balls whatsoever.

I just returned from the MMI and I loved it. Not only did I love it and learn ALOT, but I didnt spend a dime. The money manangement tools are excellent. Did I buy the jars? Hell no! Ive got plenty of jars at home. Geez, I havent even read the damn book yet and I probably wont. But I can tell you this, I came away with alot this weekend. I learned some very valuable lessons about my relationship with money. And sure I had to sit through a few sales pitches but I didnt mind. Dave Wood was an excellent facilitator and did his promotions with class.

Anyone who feels they have been deprived of breaks and sleep needs a reality check. This was easily the best seminar Ive EVER attended. I thought the length of the sessions and the breaks were quite reasonable.

Anyone who would complain about the sales pitches and the lack of sleep and who would use that as an excuse for being broken down to buy, seriously needs to get some spine. That is NOT how a Millionaire Mind works. If you were duped, then you are merely a fool who was easily seperated from his money. Lesson learned.

Hello! Read Anna G's post and found it very informative and helpful. My business partner and I are considering Wizard, he is in his 60's and is wondering if Wizard is as physically challenging as Warrior was. Anybody care to comment??

Also, any new info on David Wood?
