Identify the Sales Pitch
[+/-] show/hide this post
Peak Potentials uses all the sales pressure of a good Ginzu Knife salesman. In all my experience with Peak Potentials you do not need to succumb to the sales pressure, what is good today will be good tomorrow. If there is limited seating and it fills up, they will add another seminar. Before you buy make sure you are buying the program for good reason and not because of the sales pressure.
Warning: Do not sign any contract before you read it thoroughly and understand the refund policy and that you will be required to purchase their food and accommodation at some events. YOU HAVE 10 DAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK.
Peak Potentials uses several types of sales in their seminars to sell their programs.
- Limited Time Sales: You have to make the decision now this offer will not be good tomorrow
- Solution Sales: Wouldn't it be nice if you could...
- Scarcity Sales: We only have (insert number) of spaces available
- Deep Discount Sales: At seminar rates and in Canadian funds
- First In Sales: We have never offered this deal before
- Directed Sales: Good or Good
- Bonus Sales: We are going to throw in all of these bonuses
If you want to avoid being roped into the big sale, identify the sales pitch using the above tools, and excuse yourself from the room. When Peak Potentials leads into a new product with pricing and all, there will ALWAYS be a break of at least 15 minutes or more immediately following the sales pitch. They want people to have time to run to the back and purchase it as soon as possible. Therefore, if you step out during the pitch, you do not have to worry about missing any valuable content.
